LONG BLACK CADILLAC
Written by Kyle Jennings and Kevin Post I’ve got the pedal to the metal kickin’ back behind the wheel Towin’ that purple sunset Lordy in a Long Dark Coupe De Ville My baby’s right here beside me her pretty legs up on the dash Tearin’ down this highway blarin’ out the soul of Johnny Cash I’ve got the pride of Detroit City in my hands Starin’ out the windshield at the promise land I’m gonna follow where this road takes me Even if it never brings me back Break a couple rules somewhere along the way I’ll take it where I can because I know it wasn’t meant to last When I go I hope they come take me away In a long black Cadillac They said the way I was livin I wouldn’t make past 25 Well 30 is just around the bend and I’ve never felt so alive And as long as this roads winding I’m gonna keep on keepin’ on Live my life out loud until the Good Lord calls me home When I reach that dead end somewhere down the line Just close the lid and load me up inside I’m gonna follow where this road takes me Even if it never brings me back Break a couple rules somewhere along the way I’ll take it where I can because I know it wasn’t meant to last When I go I hope they come take me away In a long black Cadillac I’m gonna follow where this road takes me Even if it never brings me back Break a couple rules somewhere along the way I’ll take it where I can because I know it wasn’t meant to last When I go I hope they come take me away In a long black Cadillac ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

MAKIN’ LOVE IN THE MORNIN’ SUNSHINE
Written by Kyle Jennings Makin’ love in the mornin’ sunshine Make a sun-filled morning last all night Up with the sunrise work late til dusk We never seem to find enough time for us This week come Friday we’re gonna shut it down Me and my baby we’re gonna fool around We’ll be Makin’ love in the mornin’ sunshine Wakin’ to the rhythm of her body and mine Stay in bed do a little explorin’ Make a sun-filled morning last all night Taste a little red wine inside her kiss Been waiting all week for a night like this Bask in the music dance through the night Then lay her down in the morning light Makin’ love in the mornin’ sunshine Wakin’ to the rhythm of her body and mine Stay in bed do a little explorin’ Make a sun-filled morning last all night I feel the rays across my shoulder As I hold her oh so tight Feel her lips so warm and tender There ain’t another Lord that feels so right Makin’ love in the mornin’ sunshine Wakin’ to the rhythm of her body and mine Stay in bed do a little explorin’ Make a sun-filled morning last all night Makin’ love in the mornin’ sunshine Wakin’ to the rhythm of her body and mine Stay in bed do a little explorin’ Make a sun-filled morning last all night ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Northern Lights and Southern Comfort
Written by Kyle Jennings There’s a place up in the woods where the hunting and the fishing is good And there’s a sky full of light in the deep dark of the night And there’s a taste of New Orleans in a jar that my daddy left me If there’s heaven on earth well I’ve found it here tonight In the Northern lights and Southern comfort Kicking back in the lap of the promise land here tonight In the Northern lights and Southern comfort A little Southern comfort leaves a country boy feeling right I’ve got a cabin tucked back in the hills and a garden out behind the still There’s a wood burning stove and a lake that fills my plate It might not sound like I’m livin’ first class but with Aurora Borealis And a little shot of So-Co I’ve got it made In the Northern lights and Southern comfort Kicking back in the lap of the promise land here tonight In the Northern lights and Southern comfort A little Southern comfort leaves a country boy feeling right I’ve got my boots pushed up my hat pulled down and a long cold glass of cheer I’ve got a big cigar my old guitar and we’re all gonna sit right here In the Northern lights and Southern comfort Kicking back in the lap of the promise land here tonight In the Northern lights and Southern comfort A little Southern comfort leaves a country boy feeling right And I’m a feeling right ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME
Written by Timothy Blocksom, Kyle Jennings, Kevin Post In the sun that warms the pane glass to your window every morn Oh it holds you like a mother cradles up her first newborn The gust the rushes through your hair The fresh air that you breathe Oh, that’s where you’ll find me In the silk that runs across you when the evening is your host Oh the light that shines your eyes and leaves your innocence exposed In the one thing that you long for When the rest is out of reach Oh, that’s where you’ll find me Every time you find the strength to smile when you’re sad I’ll be the every thing that fills your heart up when you’re glad In the trials and the glories that will bring you to your knees Oh, that’s where you’ll find me Down the road where you discover what’s been hidden in your soul From the dreams inside your head to the sand between your toes And anything that you can think of that makes your spirit free Oh, that’s where you’ll find me Every time you find the strength to smile when you’re sad I’ll be the every thing that fills your heart up when you’re glad In the trials and the glories that will bring you to your knees Oh that’s where you’ll find me Oh that’s where you’ll find me ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Kyle Jennings I woke up this morning not sure what to think A face full of marker my pants at my feet The signs of a good time that I can’t recall Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all Last night she was gorgeous and so full of charm But this morning Chewbacca was cuddled up on my arm I don’t know how this happened but I hope no one saw Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all It must have been fun everyone is still here Surrounded by half empty bottles of beer Last night’s a bit foggy but I’m better off Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all They say I got naked and jumped off the roof Trying to cannonball into the pool I guess I came up short and back-smacked the lawn Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all It must have been fun everyone is still here Surrounded by half empty bottles of beer Last night’s a bit foggy but I’m better off Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all When the nights hard to swallow we drink to forget Because what we can’t remember we can’t regret It must have been fun everyone is still here Surrounded by half empty bottles of beer Last night’s a bit foggy but I’m better off Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all No one can remember so no ones at fault Sometimes the best memories aren’t memories at all ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

TROLLIN’
Written by Kyle Jennings Down at the end of a two track lane Past the old tractor and the mountain of hay There’s a spot by the river where a little slice of heaven awaits When the nights just right and my baby’s in the mood We pack a little cooler and some fishin’ food Soak that old boat where the deer and the catfish play A perfect silhouette against the pale moonlight We wet a little Stren on a Friday night Cuddle up together as our bobbers wander out of sight Leaf worm draggin’ on the bottom of the river I knock a beer over as a lean in to give her a kiss Cause Lord knows we didn’t come here to fish Oh there’s moonlight on a clear night fireflies lightin’ up the evenin’ sky The tree toads are singin’ and we never seem to leave em behind Cool breeze dancin’ through our soggy lips my heart beatin’ harder with every kiss Driftin’ down river and fallin’ deeper in love Not a care where we’re going Just takin’ our time anytime we go trollin’ Beached at the bank by the edge of the shore We lay an old blanket on the mossy floor Make a little love get tangled underneath the stars Race to the water for a late night swim Take her in my arms make love again Gettin’ lost in each other it doesn’t get better than this Cause there’s Moonlight on a clear night fireflies lightin’ up the evenin’ sky Tree toads singin’ and we never seem to leave em behind Cool breeze dancin’ through our soggy lips my heart beatin’ harder with every kiss Driftin’ down river and fallin’ deeper in love Not a care where we’re going Just takin’ our time Anywhere we end up that’ll be just fine Anytime we go trollin’ Anytime we go trollin’ Trollin’ Anytime we go trollin’ ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Zac Brown She’s got eyes that cut you like a knife And lips that taste like sweet red wine And her pretty legs go to heaven everytime She’s got a gentle way that puts me at ease When she walks in the room I can hardly breathe She’s got a devastating smile knock a grown man to his knees She’s got whatever it is that blows me away She’s everything I want to say to a woman But I couldn’t find the words to say She’s got whatever it is I don’t know what to do And every time I try to tell her how I feel It comes out I love you she’s got whatever it is Now I’ve never been the kind to ever want em to stay I’d bring em home at night and they’re gone the next day But that all changed when she walked into my life People ask me what it is I tell em I don’t know There’s just something bout the woman makes my heart go haywire She’s gonna be my wife She’s got whatever it is that blows me away She’s everything I want to say to a woman But I couldn’t find the words to say She’s got whatever it is I don’t know what to do And every time I try to tell her how I feel It comes out I love you she’s got whatever it is When you love me girl that’s how I feel When you love me I’m on top of the world When you love me I can live forever When you love me I am untouchable You got whatever it is that blows me away You’re everything I want to say to woman but I couldn’t find the words to say You’ve got whatever it is I don’t know what to do And every time I try to tell you how I fell it comes out I love you You got whatever it is You got whatever it is |

THIS GETTIN’ OVER YOU
Written by Kyle Jennings Since we’ve been apart life’s been a prison Where I’m stuck with mixed emotions I can’t face And I fall apart sometimes for no reason While my mind’s been somewhere lost in outer space Yesterday I went to pick up my prescription And the gal behind counter was so nice I forced a smile and handed her some money Then a thought of you erupted deep inside I just turned away as the tears welled up inside Closed my eyes to pray then I broke down and cried I can’t bear the strain and the pain is still brand new I’ll never make it through It’s slowly killin’ me This gettin’ over you I’ve tried to move ahead but I’ve gotten nowhere The same thoughts of us just circle in my mind Home’s become a filmstrip of the way things used to be When I go out it’s something every time I went walking last night and I ran into Mary She said that works been hell but life was good Her and Ricky moved into a place just down the street Said we should all do dinner when we could I just turned away as the tears welled up inside Closed my eyes to pray then I broke down and cried I can’t bear the strain and the pain is still brand new I’ll never make it through It’s slowly killin’ me This gettin’ over you You said time would wash the pain away that I was strong enough But this heart you left so empty feels like a thousand tons Every golden memory’s like a bullet in my chest And these memories are all that I have left So every time one rips through me again I just turn away as the tears well up inside Close my eyes to pray then I break down and cry I can’t bear the strain and the pain is still brand new I’ll never make it through It’s slowly killin’ me This gettin’ over you Oh it’s only killing me This gettin’ over you ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

THERE’S NO RIGHT WAY TO DO THE WRONG THING
Written by Kyle Jennings I was gentle as I could be when she gave herself to me But as I held her I was really letting go I didn't love her like I should and though I always thought I could Something kept my heart from letting my love show Then one night I left her standing in the rain Wrapped up in a blanket soaked in pain In my rearview I watched her slowly fade away There's no right way to do the wrong thing Further down the road broken lost and cold I took a detour past the point of no return The errors that I faced left a hollow mournful taste Long before they told me I was wrong I pulled the trigger on some guy at a roadside store Before I knew it I was running out the door Sack full of money but so empty and ashamed There’s no right way to do the wrong thing For all the times I could have went the other way There were all the sleepless nights inside that cage Seasons of regret left the years upon my face Now I’m prayin that it’s not too late Finally at last I think I’ve left behind my past And the man that took so much and loved so few For the live that I’d been livin It’s hard to think I’d be forgiven But that’s just what I have learned from this old pew They tell me all my sins are washed away Glory to the sacrifice He made A lesson learned a blessing earned the hard way There’s no right way to do the wrong thing ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

BALLAD OF A MAN NAMED DAD
Written by Kyle Jennings I was on a family trip when I was 10 years old With my mom and dad to see a country show Alabama was playin’ at the Buck Lake Ranch It was a hundred degrees and the sun was goin down And my ice cream had just done flopped on the ground So I was eatin’ what was left of the cone that was still in my hand We were standing around waitin for the show to start Just outside of this little park Folks were comin’ in from everywhere to find their seats Then somewhere in the rush of the hillbilly crowd Came this rumble that damn near shook the whole ground That’s when it started and boy I never will forget Well this motley of a crew was raisin’ up a fit They had tattoos and scars and they were cussin’ and spittin’ That’s when my old man said, “fellas, we’ve got a family over here” They all kinda stared at each other a while Right about then I saw one of ‘em smile Then they all broke out in laughter and burst into tears Yeah they sure got a kick out of my poor old dad In his brand new Dockers and his shirt of plaid But getting their kicks was just what they were looking for anyway They stood up together and they all gathered round And they took turns lookin’ my dad up and down Then one monster of a man said what you gonna do about it Now my dad had a legend the size of Alaska He was known for kickin’ ass from here to Nebraska But since becomin’ a family man he’d settled down a little bit He wasn’t very big but his faith was strong And he’d been slingin lumber for God knows how long And you just knew this wasn’t gonna turn out like it should You could tell by the look he had in his eye He knew to walk away but he just couldn’t this time And you could almost feel his blood as it began to boil He turned to us and said go wait in the car Then mom said Gary now we’ve come too far Let’s just go find a seat sit down and enjoy the show Well he turned back to glance at the group then he reckoned Just go on to the car this won’t take but a second That was it and momma she just took me by the hand I remember thinking what the hell’s he doin’ It’s 10 against one who’s he think he’s foolin’ Then what happened next as they say is history We walked towards the lot he walked into hell And before I could blink the first one fell And they swallowed him up like a pack of wild hyenas There was a clang and a crash and I heard a bottle break Then somehow one old boy ended up with a rake And with a flick of the wrist dad stuck it where the sun don’t shine It sounded like applause coming from a dust cloud And for a second I was worried he might not make it out Then I heard “YOU SON OF A BITCH” and I knew he was doin just fine Fists were swingin’ and elbows were flailin’ And when it was all said and done those bikers were high tailin And a big blur of leather passed us like a bat out of hell We had just reached the car when mom turned around And the dust was just settlin’ back to the ground And there stood dad in a graveyard of kicked ass It happened so fast we barely unlocked the van It was over and done by the time it began So we just locked it right back up and headed back towards dad There were a couple hundred yards between us and him As we got close the scene looked pretty grim There were 6 or 7 bodies laid out there on the ground He had a little scratch right there on his chin And there was quite a bit of blood but none of it was his I couldn’t help but notice that his shirt was still tucked in The transformation is what took me a back He gave us a hug and just like that We were headed off towards the stage and not a word was said The show was a hit everyone loved the band But all I could do was just stare at my old man Replay that whole scenario again in my head Needless to say from that day on It didn’t take a lot for me to have my homework done Or the trash cleaned or the lawn mowed or the house painted up It was strait A’s from there on out I said yes ma’am and sir and kept watch of my mouth I did everything I could to make sure I stayed on his good side That’s about it as far as I can remember I still can’t get over the wrath of his temper Boy if you could have only seen the things I saw that day To know him now hell you wouldn’t believe me He’s a man of few words with his heart on his sleeve But I’m givin’ you all fair warning what lies beneath He’d much rather love you if you choose to let him But you can bet he’ll beat you if you ever bet him He’s a soft-hearted soul with an anvil for a right hand Now the years have flown and dad’s a little older But there’s still a lot of fire in those Centrum silver shoulders And if you think his day has passed you’re on your own ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Kyle Jennings It’s been a while since I’ve been down this road I feel a little smile as I pull up to the door Mom’s in the kitchen dad’s doing chores and Lord There’s no place like home There’s a hug and a kiss and a “how you been?” Some barbecue chicken in the warm summer wind An ice-cold beer and some conversation No there’s no place like home There’s an old familiar feeling tonight I’ve found a long lost friend So many memories I’d left behind That take me back again This time together is food for the soul I don’t care if I ever go Too many miles have come between us both There’s no place like home All the pictures and stories and times we recall Bring laughter and tears and love to us all It’s getting late time to turn out the lights Another kiss welcome home and goodnight Steppin’ out into the midnight breeze There’s a subtle voice that whispers through the trees And a full moon smilin’ like he seems to agree There’s no place like home There’s an old familiar feeling tonight I’ve found a long lost friend So many memories I’d left behind That take me back again This time together is food for my soul I don’t care if I ever go Too many miles have come between us both There’s no place like home There’s no place like home ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Kyle Jennings It’s 87 and it’s heating up I’ve got a Margarita in my coffee cup Sinkin’ in the sand soakin’ up the sun Right where I belong There’s a gentle breeze to blow my cares away and the Hypnotic rhythm of the crashing waves And those slim bikinis pull my eyes astray Right where I belong It’s one big party when we sail away Where the frozen drinks can blend the nights and days This dream vacation makes me want to stay Right where I belong The nights get hotter with sinkin’ sun There’s Jose Cuervo and Jamaican rum And when the new morning comes I’ll be good and drunk Right where I belong It’s one big party when we sail away Where the frozen drinks can blend the nights and days This dream vacation makes me want to stay Right where I belong The breeze is gone and there’s a sudden jerk The foreman yells at me get back to work I reach for one last taste of salt and lime But this paradise is only in my mind It’s five o’clock and that old whistle blows and I Promised my baby I’d be right home but there’s a Pina colada waiting down at Joe’s Right where I belong It’s one big party when we sail away Where the frozen drinks can blend the nights and days This dream vacation makes me want to stay Right where I belong It’s one big party when we sail away Where the frozen drinks can blend the nights and days This dream vacation makes me want to stay Right where I belong ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Johnny Cash After twenty nine long years of working in this shop With Oney standin’ over me Today when that old whistle blows I’ll check in all my gear And I’ll retire The superintendent just dropped by And said they’ve planned my little get together Then he said I’d never made it if ole Oney Hadn’t held me to the fire I’ve seen him in my dreams at night And woke up in the mornin’ feeling tired And ole Oney don’t remember when I came here How he tried to get me fired With his folded hands behind him Every mornin’ Oney waited at the gate Where he’d rant and rave like I committed murder Clockin’ in five minutes late Well today they’ll gather round me like I’ve seen em do When any man retires And old Oney’s going to tell me from now on I’m free to do what I desire He’ll present me with that little old gold watch They give a man in times like this But there’s one thing he’s not countin’ on Today’s the day I give ‘ole Oney his I’ve been working building muscle Oney’s just been standin’ round and getting soft And today about 4:30 I’ll make up for every good night’s sleep I’ve lost When I’m gone I’ll be remembered as the workin’ man That put his point across With a right hand full of knuckles Cause today I show ole Oney who’s the boss |

Written by Kyle Jennings 27 years are all he’ll see Today has come be his last So many times before this bloody war Has let his number pass His daddy died in battle And his grandpa took the fall in ‘43 But he’ll stumble in their footsteps With no regrets proud as he can be Do you still think that we’re too patriotic Have we still gone too far to show our pride Do you get nervous talking to Good Lord up above Are you embarrassed by the stars and stripes Cause the best thing ‘bout country that you’re in is the right to be free You’re free to vote and free to pray and best of all you’re free to leave So feel free to leave Now a couple hundred years have come and gone Since the first man died to keep alive a dream Has the loss been so diluted over time We forget the reasons that we’re all free Our sons still rush to battle And our daughters toss their lives in dangers way So every peaceful freedom Our fathers fought for isn’t lost in vain Do you still think that we’re too patriotic Have we still gone too far to show our pride Do you get nervous talking to Good Lord up above Are you embarrassed by the stars and stripes Cause the best thing bout country that you’re in is the right to be free You’re free to vote and free to pray and best of all you’re free to leave So feel free to leave ©2007 Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – All Rights Reserved - Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

You Can Hear The Ryman Cry Words and Music by Kyle Jennings, Del Miller, and Billy Holt At a brand new bar in Nashville With a bright new neon sign Where they think they have the answer To the changing of the times I ordered up a whiskey and took a look around But there was something missing so headed back downtown I jumped in my old pickup and I drove down music row Where the streets of country music are no longer paved with gold I made my way through Broadway where the legends used to roam I could hear the heartache but I couldn’t feel the soul I can hear that whistle blowing but I still don’t see the train Those stars are brightly shining but they ain’t up on that stage It could be my imagination or legends deep inside But if you listen closely you can hear the Ryman cry Her walls are filled with memories But there’s a hollow spot inside Where the flame was left to ember In the torch they left behind Time and treasured loved ones were lost along the way All you hear are echoes from their songs of yesterday I can hear that whistle blowing but I still don’t see the train Those stars are brightly shining but they ain’t up on that stage It could be my imagination or legends deep inside If you listen closely you can hear the Ryman cry You can catch the sounds of Lefty, Hank Williams, and George Jones Every time that haunted wind of the Grand Ole Opry blows Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Words and Music by Pat Alger and Susan Longacre Sometimes life's a cruel things sometimes it is cold The chill don't even bother me now I'm in control The things that used to thrill me You know I let em go You're the thrill that keeps me hangin' on I can't leave the fire alone Out of the darkness I move toward the light I have to touch the flames that are holding off the night I'm gonna burn my fingers and feel the fire bite Until the final ember is cold I can't leave the fire alone Seems everyday I'm flying a little closer to the sun They'll always be an angel and a demon to outrun With you here beside me I've got the battle won Until they carve my name in stone I can't leave the fire alone Out of the darkness I move toward the light I have to touch the flames that are holding off the night I'm gonna burn my fingers and feel the fire bite Until the final ember is cold I can't leave the fire alone As long as there is life in my bones I can't leave the fire alone I can't leave the fire alone |

Can I Run In The Dark (and Still Walk In The Light)
Written by Kyle Jennings I’ve watched the best years of my life reflect off a whiskey glass I don’t see much future in the image of my past I love the life I’ve made but that don’t make it right and I wonder Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light I’ve been running hard and fast ever since I can recall Leaning on the late night life a woman’s touch and alcohol Praying what’s inside my heart can overcome what’s on my mind tell me Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light Can I still count on heaven for all the things that I’ve done wrong Will Jesus hold place inside for this lost soul to tag along I know I don’t deserve forgiveness but Lord I can’t afford to hide so I’m asking Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light I’ve learned I can’t escape my conscience so I’ve come to face my fears This battle that I fight inside myself will never disappear I still thank heaven every morning but I still give it hell most every night so tell me Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light Can I still count on heaven for all the things that I’ve done wrong Will Jesus hold place inside for this lost soul to tag along I know I don’t deserve forgiveness but Lord I can’t afford to hide so I’m asking Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light Lord I’m stumbling through the gray between black and white Can I run in the dark and still walk in the light Amen Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Written by Kyle Jennings The weatherman says it’s gonna pour all night So pour me another one and make him right ‘cause lately He ain’t nothing short of wrong Right now I can’t remember what I’m drinking for So Lord it must be working let me have one more Turn the jukebox up and throw some sawdust on the floor There’s 100% chance of fog in the morning Another guarantee I won’t remember what I did tonight 100% chance of fog in the morning The only forecast proven time after foolish time When what’s her name left just the other day I never thought I’d make it with her gone this way But tonight I can’t recall just who she used to be Tomorrow when I wake up she’ll be gone But the liquor still hangs around all day long That’s the price you pay to smother out an old memory There’s 100% chance of fog in the morning Another guarantee I won’t remember what I did tonight 100% chance of fog in the morning The only forecast proven time after foolish time I’m not too sure what’s up ahead or how long the night will last But there’s one thing I can count on at the bottom of this glass There’s 100% chance of fog in the morning Another guarantee I won’t remember what I did tonight 100% chance of fog in the morning The only forecast proven time after foolish time The only forecast proven time after foolish time Tweeter North Music Publishing (SESAC) – Dark Horse Entertainment - 615.579.3575 7676 Charlotte Pike – Nashville, TN - 37209 |

Out In The Parking Lot
Words and Music by Guy Clark and Darrell Scott Sittin' on the fender of someone else's truck Drinkin' Old Crow whiskey and hot 7-up Out in the parking lot You can hear the band playin' right through the walls And there ain't no cover charge there ain't no last call Out in the parking lot Oh I love to see the neon dance across the gravel Love to hear them pickup trucks come unraveled Look at there There's a couple of cowboys puttin' up their dukes Oh there really wasn't much to it after both of them puked Out in the parking lot And there's another couple who couldn't wait to get home They're probably in love so let's leave em alone Out in the parking lot Now some have got the blues some have got the grins Some have given up and some have given in Looks like everybody's lookin' for a friend Out in the parking lot And now the night is over they've turned out all the lights The dust begins to settle and it's never been so quiet Out in the parking lot |

You Don't Even Know
Words and Music by Mark Narmore, Liz Rose, and Josh Turner Little boy with shined up shoes His hairs all combed he goes off to school He don't look much different from all the rest His daddy's gone it's just him and his mother They move from one parking lot to another A Chevrolet back seat is his address You think the world is putting you to the test Well you don't even know The things that they don't show Right behind their eyes is where the real truth lies And if you look real deep then maybe you will see A side of a story never told You don't even know He's a quiet old man who sweeps the floor Down at the local grocery store The one you never give the time of day He's a veteran of a foreign war He fights his demons and he hides his scars The high price of freedom is the one he paid Yeah there's a hero behind that old man's face But you don't even know The things that they don't show Right behind their eyes is where the real truth lies And if you look real deep then maybe you will see A side of a story never told You don't even know He coaches little league ball He's a husband and a father and he's got it all The whole own admires the life he's made But there's a secret only his family knows About the battle he fights with the bottle he holds But he swears he's gonna kick it one of these days So on Sunday morning when you see him pray You don't even know The things that they don't show Right behind their eyes is where the real truth lies And if you look real deep then maybe you will see A side of a story never told You don't even know You don't even know |

Written by Vicki McGehee, Dale Oliver, and Dustin Schirraffo She can be a little loud the one you hear above the crowd She's crazy that's my baby She plays the jukebox all night long B12 is favorite song And she comes unwound so turn it way up loud She's the first one on the floor And the last one out the door Little miss hard to handle she loses control When we're out she loves putting on a show But there's a side to her that nodody knows Cause everytime that we get home Little miss hard to handle Is so easy to hold She can play a mean game of pool she loves to shoot the quarters too And she'll play all night she loves the neon lights Straw hat and her skin tight jeans only make a bigger scene And she wears them well when she's raising hell She's starting a fight on down the hall Man I can't wait for last call Little miss hard to handle she loses control When we're out she loves putting on a show But there's a side to her that nodody knows Cause everytime that we get home Little miss hard to handle Is so easy to hold She's starting a fight on down the hall Man I can't wait for last call Little miss hard to handle she loses control When we're out she loves putting on a show But there's a side to her that nodody knows Cause everytime that we get home Little miss hard to handle Is so easy to hold |

I'm Gettin' Too Old For This
Words and Music by Ben Hagslip and Matt Hendricks I thought I'd grow up when I got grown This itchin' to kick it up would just get gone Most of the time I act my age But there's a part of me I know will never change When the good time get a little too good My wild side comes out of the woods I can't stop the fuse once it's been lit I know there'll be a price to pay For all the hell and the ruckus I raise One of these days I'm gonna learn when to quit I'm gettin' too old for this Ain't nothing like good friends and a jar of shine Underneath a starlit sky on a Saturday night With some backwoods girls dancing in the bed of my truck We've been know to watch the sun come up When the good time get a little too good My wild side comes out of the woods I can't stop the fuse once it's been lit I know there'll be a price to pay For all the hell and the ruckus I raise One of these days I'm gonna learn when to quit I'm gettin' too old for this I know there'll come a time when I have to shut her down But it aint' gonna be no time soon and sure as hell ain't gonna be right now Cause when the good time get a little too good My wild side comes out of the woods I can't stop the fuse once it's been lit I know there'll be a price to pay For all the hell and the ruckus I raise One of these days I'm gonna learn when to quit I'm gettin' too old for this |

Down The River
Words and Music by Chris Knight I was 18 my brother was 21 One Saturday evening when all the work was done We went down by the river Had some trot lines to run My brother Walter had a fight the week before He knocked a boy named Wilson through the pool hall door And they said don't mess with Wilson unless you want a war I put the boat in the water and I made the engine run And I loaded the lantern against the sinkin' sun And my old brother Walter was loading up his guns And we went down the river Out past the coal docks we were running our lines We heard some drunken boaters racing up behind It was Wilson and his cousin they had trouble on their minds They passed on by us probably going to tend their pot We headed up river with the fist we caught But before we made the landing I thought I heard a shot Back down the river My older brother fell over the side I couldn't find him no matter how I tried And I looked all along the bank but I couldn't find where they'd hide They drug the river they searched it up and down They couldn't find his body so they decided that he drowned But I knew better and Wilson bragged around town So one night I floated down right above Wilson's shack And I hid in the woods til I saw him walk out back I put a bullet in his head dropped him in his tracks And we went down the river Down below the trestle where water runs slow I chained him to an anvil and I let him go And five years later I ain't told a soul I ain't done much fishing I hardly wet a line The death of my brother is still heavy on my mind I've been thinking Wilson's cousin better find a place to hide Cause I'm going down the river Yeah I'm going down the river Back down the river I'm going down the river Wilson's cousin he better find a damn good place to hide Because if I find him no one ever will |
